Hightech Agenda Bayern
Through the Hightech Agenda Bavaria, initiated by the Free State of Bavaria in 2019, Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences (THI) became one of four AI focus centers in Bavaria.
Alongside the Technical University of Munich (AI & Robotics), Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (AI & Health) and Julius-Maximilians University of Würzburg (AI & Data Science), Ingolstadt University of Technology has been named an AI node.
In line with the university's character as a nationally recognized mobility university, it was given the task of strengthening research in the field of Artificial Intelligence & Mobility. The AI mobility node is based on three pillars: Autonomous Driving, Unmanned Flying and Digital Production. Supporting cross-cutting research (AI methods, mobility infrastructure, AI business models and services; ethics - acceptance - technology consequences).
The AI mobility node is dedicated to AI-based mobility of the future. In doing so, results of fundamental research are to be transferred into applications.
