The Science Gallery in Ingolstadt's city center is a joint project of Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) and Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (KU) and is currently being used as part of the project "Mensch in Bewegung". Its aim is to make science tangible for the public and to engage in dialog with people. Until August 2023, the exhibition revolves around the topic of "innovative mobility", with the SAVeNoW project taking over from February on.
Exciting insights into global trends & regional research projects
In the context of global megatrends, opportunities and challenges in the mobility sector will be highlighted. The thematic focus will be on autonomous driving, traffic and vehicle safety, digital networking as well as climate-neutral mobility and smart city concepts. Since the core topics of the 5GoIng project are addressed, visitors will be able to inform themselves about the goals and research content and receive educational material on the subject of 5G mobile communications technology.
It is therefore particularly rewarding that 5GoIng will also be represented in the new exhibition starting in February 2023. The science gallery will then be used as a meeting space and for scientific lectures as well.
Basically, the gallery provides the public with exciting insights into the mobility industry and likewise aims to initiate an open and creative approach in connection with innovative mobility solutions. Scientific tours are also available upon request. Information is provided until the end of the year on the Internet at www.mensch-in-bewegung.info.
Opening hours of the Science Gallery at Ludwigsstrasse 39 are: Mondays to Fridays from 3 to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., closed on Sundays.
