Research vehicle ANTON exhibited @Science Gallery

In accordance with the exhibition's focus on "Innovative Mobility", the research vehicle ANTON of CARISSMA - Center of Automotive Research on Integrated Safety Systems and Measurement Area - demonstrates the possibilities of automated and connected driving.  ANTON, the research vehicle, serves as an open platform for the development and safeguarding of functions of automated and connected transport.

A monitor is used to present and describe the automobile and to show what this Twizy is already capable of. Another screen shows how the LiDAR sensor captures the environment and how camera data can be used to recognize everyday objects.

Among others, the children of the employees of THI and KU Eichstätt had fun trying it out.

The Twizy ANTON will be on demonstration in the Science Gallery at Ludwigstraße 39 until December 3. We are looking forward to welcome many interested visitors.
