The KONVENS (Conference on Natural Language Processing) 2023 took place from September 18 to 22, 2023, at the Technical University of Ingolstadt (THI). In addition to the technical program, the professional conference offered lively exchanges between academic researchers and industry professionals, as well as workshops, tutorials, shared tasks, and networking events.

For the first time, an audio series reported on the highlights of the 18th conference. Panos Pagonis, a research associate at THI, spoke with participants about keynote speakers, as well as the organization on-site and within the department. Insights into individual research topics were provided, and experts discussed what is currently being researched and debated in the field of NLP (Natural Language Processing).
