The "Communication Systems" laboratory provides a training and experimental environment in which practical experience can be gained, particularly in multimedia and mobile communication, VoIP, voice digitisation and QoS support in modern networks.

Equipment and function
The laboratory is currently under construction. The laboratory workstations are equipped with notebooks, headsets and special software. The laboratory currently has the following systems: Experimental boards for voice digitization, IPv6-enabled L3 switches, VoIP/ISDN gateways, VoIP telephones and mobile GSM network monitors.
Courses
In the laboratory, practical exercises are offered, especially in the context of the lecture "Telecommunications". The laboratory is also available for final theses and projects.
