Kevin Gomez speaks at Chaos Computer Club´s annual conference

Our post-doc Kevin Gomez had the chance to give a talk on his research at the Chaos Computer Club's annual conference (37c3) at the end of last year. Every year, the conference is one of the most prestigious IT security-related conferences in the world.

In his presentation "Unlocking the Road Ahead: Automotive Digital Forensics", Kevin Gomez focused on the increasing importance of vehicles in investigations, driven by the ever-growing digital capabilities of modern automobiles. The presentation on automotive digital forensics looks at the latest technologies and the central role forensic experts play in navigating this dynamic landscape. Gomez explored cutting-edge methods and tools and shed light on the major challenges facing digital forensics specialists. The presentation not only reveals the latest areas of research and trends, but also offers insights into the evolving automotive industry, which presents both opportunities and challenges for investigators. As a member of the CCC, Kevin has been honored to share his knowledge and expertise in the community. After his successful PhD, together with the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg and THI, he will remain with THI as a PostDoc.
