In autumn 2019, the research team of the Human-Computer Interaction Group headed by Prof. Dr. Andreas Riener conducted an online survey on the acceptance of autonomous aircraft (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, UAVs). The study was carried out as part of the BEEfficient project funded by the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) and carried out together with the company partner BEE appliance GmBH.
The core questions of the study are how the population is opposed to the use of drones for the delivery of goods, drugs, etc. and how drone flights would have to be designed in order to be accepted by society. The findings of the online study were presented at a scientific conference.
Three lucky winners were drawn from all 258 participants in the questionnaire study, each of whom received a shopIN-card worth 50 euros. Congratulations!
