On 07 October 2022, teachers from various disciplines and secondary schools in the region visited THI. As part of the "Round Table Educational Partnerships" format, interested parties had the opportunity to attend workshops and guided tours, to learn about the work of the THI and the individual projects and study programmes, and to make valuable contacts for future joint activities that will better prepare students for potential studies, especially at THI.
A drone could be viewed at the stand of the Faculty of Computer Science. Furthermore, professors Robert Gold, Andreas Frey and Michael Jarschel provided information on study content and requirements and discussed with interested parties how specialist topics could be incorporated into school lessons. Dr Florian Richter held a workshop on ethics and artificial intelligence. Prof. Bernd Hafenrichter presented the field of study Life Sciences, to which the degree programme Computational Life Science, taught at the Faculty, belongs.
The Faculty of Computer Science is excited about the new contacts with teachers and will continue to develop the input gained on required topics and formats.
