A team of students of THI, especially the Faculty of Computer Science, won the "Champions Cup Bayern", a three-stage Bavaria-wide management and entrepreneurship competition for students and young professionals, this year. Our students Jessica Basista (User Experience Design), Luca Bergmoser (Business Informatics), Tim Weise (Flight and Vehicle Informatics) and Darius Zamiri (User Experience Design) together with Cedric Krumbholz (Electrical and Information Engineering, Faculty E) dealt with realistic topics such as inflation, energy crisis, shortage of skilled workers and China restrictions on the purchase of "rare earths" in the company-related business simulation and had to make strategic and operational company decisions as board members with regard to sustainability, ecology and the environment.
The competition has been in existence for 20 years. Teams from THI took the challenge cup for the 4th time this year. This year's host was the company Vitesco Technologies in Regensburg.
