How do you build a successful e-commerce company? How do you justify yourself to the parent company? And how can you forecast the capacity utilization of a call center? The participants of the Management Cup Bavaria were confronted with these and many other questions. This year's host, Audi AG in Ingolstadt, spent two days analyzing business news, observing competitors, and finding compromises.
In the end, the teams, divided into two markets, presented their results to a panel of experts. The overall ranking was based on the balance sheets for the four quarters and the performance during the presentation. Ultimately, a five-person team from THI's Electrical Engineering and Electromobility degree program came out on top. The business plan in their heads, a structured approach, and great group dynamics helped Dennis Hasak, Niklas Galli, Simon Murra, Lars Steffens, and Jos Vanderliek to victory. Third place went to a team of four from THI Business School.
In the end, there was one winning team and many winners. Networks were established - with other students and with Audi employees. The first-place winners from THI, supervised by Professor Dr. Andreas Jattke, were also delighted to receive VIP tickets for the Allianz Arena.
