Why did you decide on this study course?

It was clear to me from the beginning that I wanted to study something technical after graduating from high school, because STEM subjects have always fascinated me. However, I didn't know which Mechanical Engineering major would interest me the most. By choosing a branch of this study course later on, I was able to get a taste of the individual specialties and only then decide.

How did you find out about your desired degree programme?

I mainly found information on the websites of the individual universities and took part in info-talks to get an idea of the study course. In addition, online tests helped me with my study orientation.

What professional strengths should you have for the study course?

A general interest in technology and a good knowledge of STEM subjects definitely make it easier to get started.

What do you like best about THI?

The personal interaction with each other - whether with fellow students or professors.

What tips do you have for student orientation?

Inform yourself sufficiently about the academic study process, career prospects, the city, etc. and exchange information with students! This will give you a better picture of academic study. But in the end, decide according to your gut feeling! :)
