How did you find out about your degree programme? 
I mainly used the THI website to find out about the module plans and content of the degree programmes. As a final step, I read online reviews of the degree programme at THI.

Why did you choose your degree programme? 
In the words of one of our professors: "You can't go wrong with electrical engineering, you can do virtually anything with technology afterwards." And that's true, the degree programme gives you a very broad entry into the industry. That was particularly important to me, as you lay important foundations with the degree programme and can then build on them. That's also important for moving into management positions later on, because nothing is better than having an idea of the areas you're coordinating.

What is the content of your degree programme? 
As is usual for engineering degree programmes, the first few semesters consist of a lot of maths and physical equations. However, these are all explained well and you are given a good introduction to the subject areas. Programming is also a very important part of the programme, and you work a lot with C, Python and Java over the course of your studies, all of which are also explained.

What do you like best about the THI? 
The professors, who are all passionate about their subjects and really enjoy teaching them and answering questions.

What tip do you have for study orientation? 
One important tip I can give is that you shouldn't be afraid of maths for engineering courses. It definitely doesn't have to have been your favourite subject at school, but it will be with you throughout your studies. For those who were at school a while ago, the first two semesters cover all the mathematical basics in detail, so you will be reintroduced to the subject.
