Lab for Security in Mobility and Forensics of Alternative Drive Systems

In the Laboratory for Security in Mobility and Forensics of Alternative Drive Systems, vehicles and their components are examined for security vulnerabilities and forensic examinations are carried out on vehicles. Special emphasis is placed on the examination of vehicles with electric drives. The laboratory's security test stand offers all the precautions needed to work safely on both vehicles with combustion engines and electric vehicles. In addition to passenger cars, electric bicycles and electric scooters can also be tested. The security test bench is being successively expanded to include security vulnerabilities that have become known. At the same time, research is being conducted into automation through the use of artificial intelligence ("Hackbot").
