The superordinate objectives are on the one hand the doctorate of academic and professional qualification for outstanding qualified graduates, in particular from universities of applied sciences up. On the other hand to enhance cooperation between Bavarian universities and universities of applied sciences.

The lecture “Mobility & Transport” provides a structure for joint research activities and doctorate candidates in the area of mobility and transport especially focussed on:

  • Vehicle Safety,

  • Energy and Drive System Technology,
  • Networked Mobility and Vehicle Technology,
  • Aeronautical,
  • Mobility and Transportation Concepts, Spatial Development and Tourism,

  • Logistics (especially in Autonomous Driving).

The topic areas are based on the administrative universities‘ research focus and can be expanded at any time.

The support for doctoral candidates is jointly carried out by the supervisors of the university and university of applied sciences. The lecture thus serves as a central drop-in for all parties. It offers organisational support for the doctorate process and forms the basis for joint scientific initiatives. It offers consultation for each phase of the doctorate besides a variety of themed network events. The lecture aims to extend the network and appreciates new contacts and inquiries from interested new members and universities.
