Scientific transfer conference of the ForTraNN Institute

The Sustainability Research and Transfer Centre Neuburg (ForTraNN) promotes the formation and strengthening of a transdisciplinary sustainability network of companies, municipalities, citizens, scientists and students. The aim is to combine socio-ecological solutions with techno-economic knowledge in order to meet the challenges of a sustainable future.

To this end, THI has been organising the scientific transfer conference ‘Die Große Transformation’ every two years since 2019 (with the exception of pandemic years). The event aims to intensify the dialogue between science and practice in order to ensure that research results are used effectively and, at the same time, that practice-relevant issues are incorporated into scientific research. The conference brings together stakeholders from science, business and the general public. Using impulses from science, solutions for a sustainable transformation will be jointly developed in workshops and discussion rounds.

The conference is organised and designed by the ‘Mensch in Bewegung’ transfer project.
