Christian Hanzl presents doctoral thesis at the Audi Pro.Motion Doctoral Students' Day

Every year, young scientists can present their dissertation topic as part of the Audi Pro.Motion Doctoral Students' Day. The main focus of Pro.Motion is on networking among young scientists. Around 150 scientists are currently working on their doctorates at the Ingolstadt-based car manufacturer. Individual doctoral candidates are also given the opportunity to present their doctoral thesis to the Audi management.

At this year's Doctoral Students' Day, which took place on June 18, 2021, Christian Hanzl, a doctoral student at the Institute for Innovative Mobility at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, also had the opportunity to inform the Audi management about his topic. Christian Hanzl's doctoral thesis focuses on power electronics in intelligent battery systems. "This year's Pro.Motion gave me the opportunity to present my doctoral topic to my colleagues and even the management. A unique opportunity. The positive feedback in the form of questions also showed me the relevance of the topic.", Christian Hanzl told enthusiastically. After the management pitch, the doctoral students were still able to present their topics to all Audi AG employees.

Within the Audi doctoral program, young scientists complete their dissertations. The doctoral students work closely with the supervising professor at a university and with the relevant Audi department. After completing their doctorate, they have the opportunity to be offered permanent employment at Audi AG.
