From March 20 to 23, 2023, the OMICRON Diagnosis Week took place in Lindau on Lake Constance. For several years, this has been an important platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience. Participants could look forward to interesting technical presentations, seminars, practical measurements, a presentation of technical books and discussions on all aspects of the diagnosis of electrical equipment. The evening events offered participants the opportunity to exchange ideas and network with professional colleagues.
Our PhD student Andreas Rauscher participated in the diagnosis week on two days. Amidst a dreamlike mountain backdrop, the so-called "Campus Day" took place at OMICRON's headquarters in Klaus (Austria) on March 21. This included lectures, workshops and guided tours as well as practical demonstrations on measuring systems. Lectures on different topics were presented on March 22 in the Inselhalle in Lindau. The lecture of our PhD student was assigned to the topic "Rotating Machines". He presented his research results on "Design and partial discharge testing of the insulation system of stators in the automotive industry" to the audience. "The event offered many interesting insights and gave me a good opportunity to make new contacts in the field," said Andreas Rauscher, summing up the days in the Lake Constance region.
