We brought the summer semester to a traditional close with our summer party. As in previous years, we drove to the Kleiner Leitner Weiher in the afternoon. Packed with picnic blankets, drinks and a selection of homemade cakes, we made ourselves comfortable. The bravest among us tested the water temperature of the pond, while others played beach volleyball or Kubb. There was also plenty of time for an exchange and enjoy the beautiful weather. Finally, a small quiz for colleagues provided some variety. Everyone was able to put their knowledge of their colleagues to the test with questions such as “How many colleagues have a tattoo?” or “How many colleagues live in Ingolstadt?”.
After the trip to the pond, it was back to the campus. Here we had a barbecue together with family members, alumni and students and sat together until late in the evening. This year's summer party was once again a complete success and we would like to continue this wonderful tradition in the coming year.
