From June 18 to 21, we took part in the ISIE - IEEE International Symposium on Industrial Electronics conference in Ulsan, South Korea. The conference focused on cutting-edge technologies for industry as well as applications in electronics, control, communication and computer-aided intelligence.
On one of the conference days, Markus Kohler and Andreas Rauscher presented their research results to the specialist audience. Markus Kohler presented his topic "Empirical Investigation and Feed-Forward Control of Wire Tension in Needle Winding Processes" in the session "Technical Track Motion Control, Robotics and Mechatronics". Andreas Rauscher spoke on "Impact of High Voltage Waveform on Partial Discharge Inception in Electrical Machines" in the "Technical Track Electrical Machines and Drives" session, and the conference's supporting program offered a varied mix.
In addition to the various sessions, participants were able to enjoy a welcome reception at the Trevier Craft Beer Brewery, a gala dinner including a singing group and taekwondo performance as well as a whale watching boat tour and farewell party.
