AI methods offer the possibility to capture complex non-linear relationships in data and to develop algorithms that are superior to conventional model-based approaches in many fields of application. THI has diverse research expertise in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, especially in the application areas of mobility, production, trade and health. Our AI research focuses on making the complexity of autonomous (electric) mobility manageable and on further optimising production, logistics and quality assurance processes, also from the perspective of climate neutrality.
