This offer (Details on Förderung der Volkswagenstiftung (pdf)) is aimed at Ukrainian academics who have already fled to Germany after the Russian invasion of their country or who will be arriving in Germany in the coming weeks.
It offers both doctoral and postdoctoral students and established researchers from all disciplines the opportunity to continue their research work for a period of 6-12 months in a working group at a university or research institute in Germany.
The funding includes a monthly stipend of 1,700 € (for doctoral students) or 2,300 € (for postdoctoral researchers), a monthly family allowance of up to 500 e if applicable, as well as a small amount of ongoing material resources to carry out the research.
