Due to the continuing high level of interest, the "International Lecture Series on Electromobility" will be offered again this winter semester - for the seventh time in a row. This year, the lecture series focuses on electromobility in all its facets, with a look beyond the horizon. Thus, the lecture series in the winter semester is dedicated to a wide range of topics: From the potential of bio-ethanol and hydrogen as alternative fuels, to the latest developments in charging technology, to the electrification of ships. The latest developments in batteries for e-cars will also be presented and discussed, with a special focus on the challenges and opportunities of switching to electric propulsion systems in the marine and road transport sectors. In addition, insights into the production of high-performance batteries, from materials to assembly, will be provided.
The event kicks off on Thursday, November 2 at 6 p.m. with the topic "Fast Charging Technology" presented by Guido Gommer (Stemman-Technik).
All talks will be presented live in English via teams, and speakers will be available to answer questions after each 30-minute talk. The event series is open to all interested parties, and registration is requested.
