Prof. Dr. Peter Augsdörfer welcomed Prof. Choung Jae-Yong, Dean of the School of Business and Technology Management at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), as part of his work as Head of International Academic Relations at THI and THI Business School. The aim was to show the representative of the renowned university in South Korea around THI Business School and thus create a good image of the faculty and initiate a possible future partnership.
The Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) is a national research university located in Daedeok Innopolis, Daejeon, South Korea. KAIST was founded in 1971 by the Korean government as the country's first public, research-oriented science and technology institution. KAIST is one of the most prestigious universities in South Korea with approximately 10,000 students. Its partner institutions include the Technical University of Denmark, the Ecole Supérieur des Mines, the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the Carnegie Mellon University, the Georgia Institute of Technology, the TU Berlin, the TU Munich, the Tokyo Institute of Technology and perhaps soon the THI.
