"Eight and a half years later I can say from my own life experience that I still don't regret a single day and that I am a professor with great enthusiasm," says Prof. Dr. Claudia Lieske, Professor for International HR Management at THI Business School, in an interview with the German newspaper Donaukurier. In the article she promotes the "Become a professor" campaign of the State Conference of Women's and Equal Opportunities Officers at Bavarian Universities (LaKoF), which aims to fill more professorships with women. She assumes that many do not dare to take on this position because they believe that they are not qualified enough. For Lieske, however, this fear is unfounded. “Maybe some women are also concerned about the compatibility of work and family. But in this regard, I can say that this job is ideal because you have a lot of freedom to organize your working day," says Lieske.
