Marie Stahlhut, Lisa Rüeck and Jonas Hermann from the Digital Business bachelor's degree program at THI Business School have won at the Ingolstadt 2022 Founder's Prize: the jury awarded them the "Professional" Founder's Prize for the best business plan in the digitalization category for their business idea with the project title WAIN. The prize is endowed with 2,500 euros. In addition, they will receive an image film professionally produced by an advertising agency. In the competition, they prevailed in their category against 15 competitors.
In the WAIN - Artificial Vineyard project, the three students deal with the effects of climate change on viticulture. They have developed an intelligent, digitally controlled system for the sustainable and economical irrigation of vines.
The Founder's Prize is a joint initiative of the Donaukurier, the Ingolstadt Business Start-Up Center, THI, IFG Ingolstadt and Sparkasse Ingolstadt Eichstätt and was awarded this year for the 23rd time. The jury includes Prof. Dr. Robert Wittmann, Professor of Business Start-ups and Innovation Management, and Prof. Dr. Michael Jünger, Professor of Business Consulting and Management, both from THI Business School.
