Prof. Dr. Martin Bader from THI Business School has attracted international reinforcement for the Master Entrepreneurship and Digital Business, M. Sc., which he leads: With Prof. Thomas Shirley from San José State University, Silicon Valley, USA, and Dr. Madelein Kleyn, Head and Director of Technology Transfer from Stellenbosch University near Capetown, South Africa, no less than two international guest lecturers have held courses in the degree program.
Shirley specifically addressed leadership and global innovation in his seminar, "Global Entrepreneurship and International Leadership," co-taught with THI professor James McDonald. Kleyn taught negotiation management and dealmaking in addition to technology commercialization strategies in the "Technology Commercialization & Intellectual Property Management" seminar.
"I very much enjoyed my time at THI, because the students are very respectful and active in class discussions," Professor Shirley summed up his visit. "The masters program leader and fellow professors were also very supportive and provided me great autonomy in designing my course and my teaching approach."
Kleyn was also enthusiastic: "A very bright and active bunch!"
