Four international guest lecturers visited THI Business School at the end of November to talk about leadership and complexity theory. They followed an invitation of Prof. Dr. Torsten Graap, Professor for Socio-economics and Accounting at THI Business School and THI’s Director International Relations for Northern Europe. Clayton Schreiber of the Lenoir-Rhyne University, North Carolina, USA, gave a lecture about “Leadership and Complexity for young generations“. Karl Eirikson of Bifröst University followed him with a lecture about “Sustainable Leadership for Individuals“. Prof. Dr. Craig Schreiber, also of Lenoir-Rhyne University, gave the third lecture entitled “Natural Systems: A different perspective on leadership“. Prof. Dr. Einar Svansson of Bifröst University gave the last lecture entitled “Nordic Servant Leadership Model“.
The four guest lecturers also got a special “treat” during their stay: For one evening, together with professors from all faculties of THI, they were DJ’s at a party at the Reimanns to celebrate the 25th anniversary of THI with around 300 students.
