Lecture about bitcoins and blockchain technology

Felix Hartmann is a 24-year-old German-American entrepreneur, consultant and founder of his own hedge funds Hartmann Capital. In the middle of October, he gave a lecture about crypto currency at THI Business School in the Bachelor degree programme International Management. He explained the origins of bitcoins, which developed after the economic crisis, as well as the money creation process with bitcoins. In addition, he informed about how transactions with bitcoins work by using blockchain technology. “His lecture was very lively and practice-oriented”, said Prof. Dr. Mandy Habermann, Program Director, afterwards. “The students discussed about opportunities and challenges of these new technologies and asked many questions.”
