Prof. Dr. Michael Jungbluth joins the THI Business School as Professor of Artificial Intelligence in Consumer Commerce in September 2021. Prof. Jungbluth studied and received his Ph.D. in business administration at KU Eichstaett-Ingolstadt and Corvinus University Budapest, majoring in marketing, statistics and computer science. He subsequently worked as a consultant for analytical CRM at Bertelsmann and led the Customer Intelligence Practice of SAS in the DACH region before joining THI. In his professional roles, he designed and delivered sophisticated analytical customer management solutions for leading retail companies and financial service providers.
Building on his professional career in CRM, Prof. Jungbluth's research focuses on empirical use cases of artificial intelligence to improve customer experience. He looks at incremental value contributions of omni-channel marketing programs and analyzes the transformation potential of artificial intelligence in customer touchpoints.
