The team of professors at THI Business School has been reinforced: Since September 1, Prof. Dr. Kathrin Tissot-Daguette has been teaching and conducting research at the School as Professor of Biotechnology and Management.
Prior to her appointment at THI, she worked for 14 years in various areas of research and development of therapeutic antibodies at MorphoSys AG, as well as in collaborations with diverse international partners. Most recently, Kathrin Tissot-Daguette was responsible for the research portfolio at MorphoSys. In addition to the responsibility for technical content, the scope of duties included interdisciplinary collaboration and project management, as well as the representation of research for MorphoSys.
Prior to joining MorphoSys, Prof. Tissot was involved in building ESBATech AG, a start-up company in Zurich.
Kathrin Tissot studied biology/biochemistry at the Technical University of Munich, the University of Glasgow and the University of Regensburg. In 2001, she received her PhD in biochemistry from the University of Zurich and conducted research for another three years as a postdoc at the University Hospital Zurich, financed by self-acquired third-party funds. The results of the postdoc work led to the spin-off of another start-up (Neurimmune AG).
