Prof. Dr. Christian Locher of THI Business School presented the concept of THI’s Bachelor degree programme Digital Business at the annual conference of the American Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) in Cracow, Poland. The degree programme combines business administration with digital know-how and entrepreneurship in a practically-oriented manner. Furthermore, he and Prof. Dr. Bernd Scheed, Dean of THI Business School, presented the THI Center of Entrepreneurship (CoE) as one out of six innovations in the worldwide AACSB competition “innovations that inspire”. The CoE coordinates all start-up activities and ensures the transfer of knowledge between researchers and practitioners in order to support competitive start-ups within THI.
THI Business School has been a member of AACSB since May 2011 and seeks accreditation for which it must meet highest standards in teaching and research. AACSB accredited more than 800 out of 1.700 of its worldwide members, among them ten institutions in Germany such as Technical University Munich or RWTH Aachen.
