On October 1, 2024, around 450 Bachelor's students and around 150 Master's students began their first semester at THI Business School. After being welcomed by THI President Prof. Dr. Walter Schober, the first-semester students received a backpack in the faculty colors. The students then started their introductory week, during which the various degree programs offered practice-oriented agendas.

The Bachelor's degree programs in Business Administration (BW) and International Management (IG) went on excursions to local companies such as Büchl, Herrnbräu, Airbus, Kessel AG, Gebrüder Peters as well as MTU Aero Engines in Munich. Students on the Digital Business (DB) and Media Psychology and Digital Business (MPS) degree programs gained insights from presentations by representatives of Mediamarkt Saturn, Telefonica and MHP Management and IT Consulting.

In the Global Economics and Business Management (GBM) degree program, company analyses were carried out using real-life case studies. Inspiring keynote speeches were given on the Life Science Management (LSM) degree program: Prof. Dr. Silke Wolfenstetter spoke about “Digitalization in Healthcare using the Example of Medical Expert Systems”, Prof. Dr. Kathrin Tissot shed light on the history and future of monoclonal antibodies, and degree programm director Prof. Dr. Alexander Schuhmacher gave a lecture on the “BioRevolution”.

THI Business School wishes all students a successful start to the new semester.
