THI Business School receives bundle accreditation

Dean of Studies Prof. Dr. Karin Schmidt of THI Business School has great news to report: The Accreditation Council confirmed the fulfillment of conditions for the bundle accreditation. "This means that the majority of our study programs have been successfully accredited until 2028, and we have successfully completed an important milestone."

Accreditation by the Accreditation Council, a standardized seal of quality throughout Germany, is something that every study program must undergo on a rotating basis. In 2019, THI Business School had for the first time combined the study programs that were up for accreditation into one large accreditation bundle. Due to the Corona pandemic, the on-site assessment by the accreditation agency FIBAA, which was planned for April 2020 at the time, had to be postponed, so the schedule kept stretching. In addition, the Accreditation Council interpreted the criteria for the Dual seal more strictly. Following a large-scale reform of the dual degree program throughout THI, this can now be continued for the bachelor's and master's degree programs at THI Business School.
