With the Bavarian University Award Entrepreneurship "MöglichMacher", BayZiel (Bavarian Center for Innovative Teaching), together with the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts, the vbw (Bavarian Industry Association) and Hochschule Bayern e. V., recognizes outstanding initiatives in the field of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial mindset at Bavarian universities.
The business modeling concept Strategy Design Innovation (SDI) developed by Prof. Dr. Robert G. Wittmann and Prof. Dr. Michael Jünger at THI Business School was included in the first round of this competition in the circle of ten value-creating concepts and represented by Prof. Wittmann. This concept develops entrepreneurship competence in seven perspectives: creating orientation, understanding the environment, sounding out one's own competitive position, creating advantages for all stakeholders, winning people over for implementation, finally putting the PS of the business model on the road and steering it sustainably towards success (see toolbox). The authors provide an interactive toolbox for this purpose, which has been successfully used in more than 1,000 business cases - from start-ups to large companies - in the practice of business modeling.
The DiNa special edition of BayZiel published in May presents the ten value-creating concepts and provides an opportunity to gain an overview of the diverse approaches to start-up support at Bavarian universities, to make contacts in this competence network and to unleash synergies.
