Students of the Masters’ degree program Automotive & Mobility Management of THI Business School are now advising the regional government of South Tyrol. For the cities of Bressanone and Brunico, they are creating concepts for the development of a so-called 15-minute city, in which it should be possible to get to any place within less than 15 minutes. The practical project is part of the project seminar "Innovations in the Mobility Industry" and is supervised by Prof. Dr. Harry Wagner, Professor for Automotive & Mobility Management at THI Business School.
The students formed two groups to analyze Bressanone and Brunico individually. For this purpose, they initially spent three days at the end of October exploring the two cities by car, bicycle, public transport and on foot. In the coming weeks, they will identify weak points and try to generate ideas for more efficient mobility. They plan to present their findings to the state government next spring.
Practical projects like this are an integral part of all THI Business School courses.
