Final lecture of the series "Sustainability in construction"

A Merck Group site will be opened up for the settlement of third-party companies from the field of environmental technologies. In particular, the requirements for sustainable construction and infrastructure development in the park in terms of DGNB certification will be analyzed. Finally, two lighthouse projects will be presented: the establishment of a special support facility for start-ups (GreenTech Accelerator) and a photovoltaic park on the site.

The speaker, Dr Stefan Fandel, studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. He is the founder of Connect Plus GmbH and Head of Site Development at the Merck Group.

The event begins at 6.15 p.m. in room CN 107 and is aimed at students at the Sustainability Campus Neuburg and interested members of the public. The lecture series aims to emphasize the need for a paradigm shift in the construction industry by opening up different perspectives on relevant issues in this area. Participation in the lecture is free of charge.
