Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) is one of the largest universities in the region with around 6,500 students and is one of the leading universities for applied sciences in Germany due to its research strength. But what many people don't know is that THI is also one of the largest employers in the region, with around 750 employees. The trend is pointing steeply upward. In the coming years, the number of students, professors, scientists and administrative staff is expected to continue to grow.
THI is therefore organizing the first "International Recruiting and Talent Day" on Wednesday, November 17. It is aimed primarily at scientists, but all other interested parties are welcome to attend from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to get a comprehensive picture of the university as an employer. "Whether someone wants to pursue a career in science, wants to do a doctorate, wants to find open positions or simply wants to learn more about THI as an employer, we answer all questions at our Talent Day," says Siri Lang, Head of Service Recruiting and Human Resources Development.
The program is extensive. There are lectures and discussion rounds, as well as guided tours of the campus. Interesting discussion partners will show their areas of expertise and open their laboratories to allow visitors to experience science up close. There will also be detailed information about doctoral studies at the university. The Graduate Center will be available from 10 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. for questions and discussions. The detailed program is available online at www.thi.de/karriere
To enter the THI, participants must wear an FFP2 mask and be fully vaccinated or recovered from a COVID infection (2G).
Because attendance is limited for the scientific presentations and tours, registration is required by emailing karriere@thi.de.
